The Street Department collects bulk items and yard waste on a weekly basis. Leaves are collected via vacuum between October 15th and February 15th. Outside of this time, leaves and grass clippings must be bagged.
Regular trash collection occurs weekly on Fridays.
The Town will not pick up any construction debris or construction waste. Disposal of these items is the responsibility of the property owner.
The following list of prohibited items includes but is not limited too:
Shingles, Concrete, Carpet, Bricks, Sheetrock, Tires, etc.
The Street Department will evaluate the items to be picked up and may refuse any items deemed prohibited.
Items that may be picked up include:
Couches, Mattresses, Stoves, Refrigerators, Plywood, Televisions, Dressers, etc.
